Justin A. Nixon is a director, animator, motion designer, and artist who transverses the worlds of film, commercial enterprise, print, and fine art.
Following a childhood in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, Justin attended Point Park University in the city to pursue a degree in Cinema and Digital Arts. Though, this regard of cinema emerged much earlier in life. The local library fueled his love of films. He spent countless hours choosing the next world in which to explore (yet, always returning to his favorites – Indiana Jones and Star Wars). The decision to practice film as a career was ultimately solidified on his first trip to a movie set; his passion need not only be a hobby.
Justin’s current influences are a true amalgam, including people, writing, podcasts, and fictional worlds. Walt Disney, Patrick Claire, James Turrell, and Ash Thorp make up his list of influential individuals. Additional guidance is found in The Collective Podcast, Super Smash Bros and the Nintendo World, and Theodore Roosevelt’s “The Man in the Arena”.
